Just a normal day
How does my normal day look like?
- I wake up. It´s usually around 9 when that happens. I´m snoozing from 7:30. It´s not good but I can´t help myself. And my thoughts are telling me that there is no need to hurry out of the nicely warm bed. My thoughts are right. With one exception-my subconsciousness is upset and I feel bad about it all day . Plus sometimes I have a headache as additional punishment of my over-relaxed body. I love sleeping-nothing so much to complain about:-)
- I eat breakfast and drink two cups of coffee with milk.
- I open my laptop and check my e-mails. It´s exciting. I´m waiting if there is some answer to my job applications. Moment of surprise...NO. Hm, not a surprise. Every day now for 24 days.
- Browsing internet/looking for job - 50%/50%. They say that looking for job is full time job. It´s truth, but I´m a little bit procrastinating. I´m pretty good at that. But well, it gets boring to search on "look for work" websites, where most of the adverts are in Danish, naturally.
- Calling to places. Asking about possibility to work there. Have they recieved my CV? Etc. Ususally they have no positions open and no clue I have sent them my CV. Yeah that´s how it goes when you are sending open applications.
- Eating lunch - that´s good.
- Sports - that´s also good. Usually I go for run or cycling. Fresh air, crisp autumn weather, great combination for clearing out my head.
- Cold shower-even better.
- Checking e-mails again...what if...
- Being happy because Antti comes home and I have somebody to speak with! :-)
- Dinner-cooking and eating. Nice.
- Reading book or watching Tv-where is nothing and all the people speak that annoying language. Oh yeah, Two and half men come from the other programm, great!
- Skyping with whoever is available. Im trying to use all my 2000 words that I normaly would use... to prevent frustration.
- Feeling like ...I haven´t done anything again today..Allthough I have! As one my friend said - I´m enjoying myself...hmm, ok.
WORD of TODAY/
THIS PERIOD = PERSISTENCY.
That´s the key to get a job. One e-mail will one day be THE ONE!
